Flu Shot Clinics to Happen in September

Student Services, Human Resources and NEOvations have organized Flu shot clinics for students, faculty and staff to obtain an influenza vaccination during the month of September.

This year, the flu shot clinics will work differently than they have in the past. To attend a flu shot clinic, follow the Flu Shot Clinic link and sign up for a five minute time slot. A confirmation email will be sent to you listing your appointment time and the form you will need to fill out and bring with you along with the Vaccination Information Sheet (VIS) with important information about the flu vaccine. Arrive for your flu shot with your completed form and your phone. Forms stay with NEOvations at the shot clinic, so after your vaccination, take a picture of your form for proof of vaccination. Use a .jpg to .PDF app such as Smallpdf.com to create a PDF for your records.

All NEOMED students from the Colleges of Medicine and Pharmacy must be vaccinated annually. By doing so, we are protecting the health of students and the health of the community they serve. Students can choose to attend one of the NEOMED flu shot clinics or obtain the flu shot somewhere else but must show proof of having gotten a flu shot by uploading into myCB by Oct. 15.

If you have questions about the vaccine, please contact Dr. Kunal Amin at kamin@neomed.edu.

Student questions about Credentialing, myCB, please contact Monica Lenox at mlenox@neomed.edu.

Faculty/Staff questions, please contact Karen Tomlinson at ktomlinson@neomed.edu.
