Vaidehi Mahadev, M2, wins grant in neurosurgery

Vaidehi Mahadev, a second-year medicine student at NEOMED, was selected to receive one of 20 fellowships given nationally to first- or second-year medical students interested in working in a neurosurgical lab. The summer research fellowship was awarded through the Neurosurgery Research and Education Foundation (NREF) and is dedicated to supporting research and education to help neurosurgeons improve the lives  of others.

Mahadev is the first NEOMED student to ever win a grant in neurosurgery.
