156 students to present scholarly work at Student Research Symposium

Show support for students at the 2024 Student Research Symposium! 156 students from the Colleges of Medicine, Pharmacy and Graduate Studies will be presenting their scholarly work, with 144 posters and 12 oral presentations.

Attendees may join all or portions of the event. Please see below for full details:

AGENDA

  • 1 - 1:10 p.m. – opening remarks
  • 1:10 - 1:30 p.m. – Guest Speaker #1 - Samudragupta Bora, Ph.D., founding director of the Health Services Research Center at University Hospitals and associate professor of pediatrics at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine.
  • 1:45 - 2:45 p.m. – First round of poster/oral presentations (Group 1)
  • 15-minute break
  • 3 - 3:25 p.m. – Guest Speaker #2 - Paul Lecat, M.D., professor of internal medicine and pediatrics at NEOMED and inventor of the Ventriloscope
  • 3:30 - 4:30 p.m. – second round of poster/oral presentation
  • 4:30 - 5 p.m. – awards and closing remarks
