Two guest presenters will be welcomed to campus for the event –– Larry Hurtubise, Ph.D. (ABD), a curriculum and instruction specialist from The Ohio State University, and Gustavo Patino, M.D., Ph.D., an associate professor from Oakland University’s William Beaumont School of Medicine. Mr. Hurtubise will present a plenary session on Universal Design for Learning and facilitate an afternoon workshop on active learning while Dr. Patino will conduct a workshop on writing effective assessment items.
