A 55-word reflection

A reflection from recent alumnus Christopher Economus, M.D. (’24), was shared in a news article from the Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC).

AAMC invited graduating medical students to submit 55-word stories about their medical school journeys, focusing on a patient interaction, their medical school experience or another significant moment.

Dr. Economus’ submission is a poetic reflection on delivering bad news to a patient and a loved one.
