A new location for student lounge

Beginning the week of Sept. 23, the student lounge adjacent to the Jay A. Gershen Atrium in the NEW Center will be closed for renovations.

A new student game room, located in the former Nook, will be available during the closure. Please note that there are more exciting additions coming to this game room throughout the fall, including new furniture!

Additionally, students looking for rest and recreation on campus will continue to have access to lounge areas across from Liebelt Hall, in the south corridor and above the atrium outside Watanakunakorn Auditorium.

The previous lounge space in the NEW Center will become the Student Veterans Lounge space.

The Student Veterans Lounge represents NEOMED’s tradition of being a military-friendly campus. In November 2023, the University earned designation as a Collegiate Purple Star Award institution.
