A new role for Stephanie Vollmer
Stephanie Vollmer has been named assistant director for admission operations in the admissions office, effective immediately.
Vollmer joined NEOMED’s admissions office in the role of assistant director supporting prospective and accepted students through the admission process and enrollment onboarding in the College of Graduate Studies.
Prior to joining NEOMED, Vollmer served at Kent State University in several progressively more responsible roles. These included academic retention coaching for a case load of nearly 20 undergraduate students for the College of Education, Health and Human Services, study abroad program recruitment for the Office of Global Education, academic advising as a graduate assistant for the College of Business Administration where she also volunteered as the Secretary of Committee Executive Board for the Kent Academic Support and Advising Association (KASADA), before working as a financial aid counselor in the Student Financial Aid Office at Kent State. Her most recent role prior to joining NEOMED in April was as the athletics compliance coordinator for Kent State where, among other tasks, she ensured that Kent’s 17 Division I intercollegiate athletics programs maintained compliance and adherence to complex and ever-evolving NCAA and MAC regulatory bylaws.
Vollmer holds an M.B.A. in human resource management, an Educational Technology Certificate in Online and Blended Learning and Teaching, and a Higher Education Administration Certificate in Career and Academic Advising in addition to her B.A. in political science.
