Accreditation Assurance Argument is Posted

Dear NEOMED Community:

NEOMED has been working for the past 16 months to prepare the Assurance Argument for the reaccreditation of the University by the Higher Learning Commission (HLC). This has been a huge effort with contributions from faculty, staff and students. The self-study process is meant to reflect the opinions, values and experiences of our campus community — and we have certainly accomplished that goal. On Monday, Aug. 15, the Assurance Argument and supporting documentation were finalized and uploaded into the HLC Assurance System for the HLC site team to review in preparation for their visit Sept. 12-13.

NEOMED has such a great story to tell, and with pride, we are making the University’s Assurance Argument available to the entire community via our HLC reaccreditation website. Please note that this version of the Assurance Argument is a PDF without active links as they are only available to the HLC site team.

I encourage you to read this document to learn more about the amazing work being done by all of you as we continue to create transformational leaders and improve health in Northeast Ohio and beyond.

Sincerely,

John T. Langell
President
