Observation of Constitution Day on Sept. 18
Constitution Day is an American federal observance commemorating the signing of the United States Constitution on Sept. 17, 1787. Since this is a Sunday, we are honoring Constitution Day on Monday, September 18!
Here’s how you can get involved:
- Visit an information table in the Office of Financial Aid from noon - 1 p.m. on Monday, September 18, to challenge yourself with constitutional games, and pick up a pocket Constitution, while supplies last.
- Watch informational videos online if you cannot make it in person.
- Most importantly, register to vote or update your voter registration so you can exercise your right to vote! The deadline to register to vote in the Nov. 7 general election is Oct. 10, 2023. You can also request an absentee ballot to vote by mail or early in-person voting.
- Visit our Constitution Day website for more information.
