Alumnus honored
Duane Taylor, M.D., a 1985 alumnus of NEOMED, has been inducted into the Hall of Distinction of the American Academy of Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery and Foundation (AAO-HNS/F). This year’s inductees will be recognized at the AAO-HNS/F 2023 Annual Meeting & OTO Experience in Nashville, Tennessee, in October.
Dr. Taylor, medical director of Le Visage ENT & Facial Plastic Surgery in Bethesda, Maryland, is being recognized as a Living Legend by the organization.
According to an AAO-HNS/F announcement, Dr. Taylor “is a collaborative trailblazer dedicating a career toward creating a culture of opportunity for a diverse inclusion and representation in medicine and otolaryngology…Issues of diversity and inclusion, health and wellness, and international outreach have been areas of focus throughout his career.”
