Alumnus James Kravec, M.D., is next VITALS speaker
James Kravec, M.D. (’02), chief clinical officer at Mercy Health Lorain and Youngstown, will discuss physician leadership during VITALS | Visionary Health Leadership in Action at noon, Thursday, July 11, in the Regula Great Room and via Zoom.

About Dr. Kravec
As the Mercy Health Lorain and Youngstown market’s chief clinical officer, Dr. Kravec is responsible for providing physician executive leadership for the markets of Lorain and Youngstown’s clinical enterprises, which includes the over 1,500 physicians and advanced practice clinicians of the five hospital medical staffs, two employed medical groups and the market’s clinically integrated network and accountable care organization. He oversees the overall mission, strategic leadership and the assurance of quality care delivery for those clinical enterprises and their integration.
Dr. Kravec is also the system medical director for Graduate Medical Education for Bon Secours Mercy Health. He leads operations, strategy and growth for the physician residency programs through the system, which currently includes seven markets, over five states, 40 resident and fellowship programs, and 600 physician learners.
