The Office of Financial Aid is excited to announce an outstanding scholarship opportunity program made available through the AMA Foundation for current M3 students (Class of 2024).
The Physicians of Tomorrow Scholarship program offers several national awards and one Ohio medical student award. Nearly all awards are valued at $10,000 (except for one award of $5,000). These are outstanding opportunities, and we have had multiple NEOMED students receive these prestigious awards.
The nomination application deadline is Monday, Jan. 30 (11:59 p.m. EST). You will need to submit a letter of recommendation; we highly recommend that you ask your reference as soon as possible to provide ample time for the letter to be written.
There is a nomination process for the awards and NEOMED is only able to nominate a specific number of students per award. While you can apply internally for multiple awards, ultimately you can only be nominated for one. The dean’s designee will select nominees for each award and then the nominees will work with the Office of Financial Aid to complete your application by the Feb 28 deadline.
