Three cheers for NEOMED’s Family Medicine Interest Group!
The student organization was among those selected for national recognition in the Program of Excellence Overall category at the American Academy of Family Physicians National Conference held in July.
In addition, second-year College of Medicine student Michaela Ward, the 2021-2022 Family Medicine Interest Group president, was selected along with Jamie Pandey, a third-year College of Medicine student and former FMIG president, to attend the annual Emerging Leader Institute held in conjunction with the conference. The two students were among a small group chosen nationally by the AAFP for scholarships.
Congratulations to all for their steps toward becoming transformational health care leaders!
