Giving Day at Northeast Ohio Medical University has the proverbial snowball effect: Once it gets going, it builds upon itself, increasing not only in size but also in its ability to make things happen. Each year’s 24 hours of giving have celebrated the largest single days of giving to the Blue Fund, our annual fund.
And with the support of Huntington Bank’s matching gifts each year, Giving Day realizes increased engagement from supporters, many of whom become regular contributors to NEOMED programs and events.
This year, Giving Day begins at noon, Wednesday, March 6, and runs till 11:59 a.m. Thursday, March 7. Huntington will be back again, donating $120 for every unique donor who gives — up to a total of 300 donors.
Make It Happen
From increasing financial support of students to establishing events such as those with prospective donors who get to meet our nationally renowned researchers, Giving Day makes it happen.
If you have already given to NEOMED this year, thank you! Your additional gift of any size on Giving Day will go a long way toward impacting students. If you haven’t given yet, make your gift now!
As a donor, you will be recognized with a personalized, or anonymous (if desired), puzzle piece. We need to average a little more than a donor every five minutes to build puzzles — representing 300 connected donors who made it happen on Giving Day.
You can see the puzzles come together in the atrium located outside the Watanakunakorn Auditorium. Each puzzle piece will be entered in a raffle drawing for special prizes.
