Campus Kudos for the week of May 18

Shout out to these recent Campus Kudos honorees!  

Keri Adorisio, Student Services, was recognized for leading the 2026 Commencement ceremony. “As a fairly new member of the NEOMED community, Keri tackled the huge task of leading planning for Commencement, one the University’s largest and most important annual events. She managed the event with grace and collaborative leadership, ensuring an excellent event for the graduating class.”

Anthony Bianchi, Information Technology - Helpdesk Technician, was recognized for clear communication. “Anthony provided step-by-step instructions, both verbally and in writing, that allowed me to successfully assist with logging a new staff member into NEOMED systems without being on the NEOMED network. His detailed instructions were clear, detailed and easy to understand, allowing us to easily remotely access all of the systems critical to the new employee's success at NEOMED. The ease of this process helped set the tone for the new employee that NEOMED provides exceptional service and support to their team members. Thank you, Anthony, for being a big part of this messaging!”

Sara Biltz and Andrea Smith, Campus Operations, were recognized for leading campus nature walks.Sara and Andrea have been SO AMAZING with the campus nature walks! It is so cool learning about all the different plants around campus and how they grow! The girls have such great knowledge! Always a nice time walking the campus with them!

Jessica Emshoff, Pharm.D., BCPS, BCGP, Department of Pharmacy Practice, was recognized for successfully delivering a new course. “Dr. Emshoff has taken on brand new course directing this year and has knocked it out of the park!  She demonstrated real resilience, dedication, and thoughtfulness while tackling challenges, working with students and delivering a high-quality educational offering!”

Amy Furey-Ligan, Office of General Counsel, was recognized for her responsiveness and support. “A big shout-out to Amy Furey-Ligan in Legal! Amy is always quick to respond, incredibly helpful and consistently provides thoughtful guidance whenever you’re unsure of the answer. Her support and willingness to help are truly appreciated!”

Bob Kropff, Marketing and Communications, was recognized for his behind-the-scenes work.Bob is truly a one-man band behind the NEOMED website. As Senior Digital Marketing Strategist in Marketing and Communications, he works tirelessly to showcase NEOMED’s colleges, researchers, students and staff in the best possible light. His constant diligence and attention to detail help ensure that NEOMED has a strong digital presence for prospective students, partners and anyone looking to learn more about our institution. Bob’s behind-the-scenes work plays a major role in how the world sees NEOMED, and his dedication does not go unnoticed. Kudos to Bob!”

Officers of Women in NEOMED (WiN) were recognized for their leadership and planning. “[This] amazing group of leadership oversees the Women in NEOMED group on campus. These ladies are offering some really great events to participate in—and they deserve to know they are doing a great job.”
