National Pharmacist Day is observed each year on Jan. 12. This special day serves as an opportunity for NEOMED to celebrate the vital role that pharmacists play in health care and to acknowledge the dedication of our pharmacy students, faculty, staff and alumni.
The College of Pharmacy launched in 2005. By 2011, for the first time in NEOMED’s history, pharmacy students joined their College of Medicine counterparts in walking across the stage at Commencement. The College now has 924 current graduates who are serving communities around the nation.
National Pharmacist Day not only commemorates the past achievements of pharmacists but also looks forward to shaping the future of pharmacy education and health care as a whole.
