Celebrating the close of NEOMED’s 2020–25 Strategic Plan
NEOMED has officially closed out its 2020–25 Strategic Plan and launched the new 2030 Strategic Plan. As we sunset the previous plan, we celebrate a period of remarkable growth, innovation and community impact.
Over the past five years, the University has achieved numerous milestones that have helped shape its future. Notable accomplishments include:
- 1,000+ total student enrollment growth.
- The creation of the Bitonte College of Dentistry, expanding access to oral health education and care across Ohio.
- Achievement of a full 10-year reaccreditation from the Higher Learning Commission.
- Expansion of clinical rotation sites and partnerships through NEOMED’s affiliation with University Hospitals.
- Creation of the Medical Design Innovation Center (MEDIC) sponsored by the Timken Foundation.
- Over 160 action plans implemented to impact 42 strategic initiatives across six pillars with 91% completed ahead of schedule.
This plan guided impactful progress for our students, faculty, staff and community partners. We’re proud to report a 99% completion rate, with a few key initiatives carrying forward into the new 2030 plan for continued advancement.
