Here are the Celebration of Health Professions Education's plenary and workshop speakers

Please plan to join us for the Spring Celebration of Health Professions Education to be held in-person in the Great Hall and via Zoom from noon to 5 p.m. on Monday, April 22. For those unable to join us on the NEOMED campus please register here and to receive the Zoom link and password for the event.

We look forward to welcoming Jenny Marcinkiewicz, Ph.D., director of the Center for Teaching and Learning and associate professor of biological sciences at Kent State University, who will be presenting the plenary, “Good Alignment: The Key to Moving Learning Forward.”

Our own NEOMED faculty members, Chris Paxos, Pharm.D., professor of pharmacy practice, and S. Scott Wisneski, Pharm.D., M.B.A., R.Ph., vice dean of the College of Graduate Studies and associate professor of pharmacy practice, will present the workshop session, “Crafting Clear Pathways: A Workshop on Writing Objectives and Assessing Test Item Performance.”

We will soon announce the education innovation session faculty presenters who will be sharing their education and curricular innovations in the afternoon. We look forward to seeing you April 22!
