Updated: Changes to overtime regulations
Recently communication regarding salary changes was sent addressing the recent changes to the Fair Labor Standards Act. This communication was not sent or endorsed by Human Resources, so we are providing clarifying information.
While the changes to the Fair Labor Standards Act are set to be effective July 1, 2024, Human Resources is working closely with University leadership to determine how NEOMED will comply with these new regulations. It is possible that this new regulation may be delayed or blocked following legal challenge. Given these dynamics, a plan and process is being developed and will be ready should the regulations move forward. This plan includes direct communication, guidance and support for those impacted.
