College of Pharmacy faculty member recognized with ACCP Fellowship
Patrick Gallegos, Pharm.D., was recognized as a Fellow in the American College of Clinical Pharmacy (ACCP) at the 2023 Annual Meeting in Dallas.
Fellowship in ACCP (designated by the acronym FCCP) recognizes excellence in the practice and science of clinical pharmacy. Fellowship is awarded to individuals who have made sustained contributions to the College and who have demonstrated exceptional performance in clinical pharmacy practice and/or research.
Among the criteria evaluated by the committee are examples of patient care services developed by the nominee, certifications or other credentials earned, drug therapy management responsibilities, educational presentations, service to publications, original research presentations, projects, funding, publications, and other professional activities and awards.
Individuals nominated as Fellows also must have made a substantial contribution to ACCP through activities such as giving presentations at College-sponsored meetings, providing service as a peer reviewer, contributing to College publications, serving as a committee member or completing a term as a leader within the organization.
