The nation’s largest annual gathering of pharmacy professionals featured podium and poster presentations led by faculty, students and alumni in the College of Pharmacy. The American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP) Midyear Clinical Meeting was held Dec. 3-7, 2023, in Anaheim, California.
The venue provided a national audience for NEOMED pharmacy students to showcase their diverse clinical research activities. Nearly all posters featured multiple student authors and covered topics including palliative care, women’s health and emergency medicine.
Special congratulations to fourth-year students Nicolas Wagner and Samah Abdallah for representing NEOMED in the skills competition.
And congratulations to Joe Marchiano, Pharm.D., BCPS, BCGP, assistant professor of pharmacy practice, for being named a 2023 Distinguished Service Award Winner!
