College of Pharmacy receives scholarship award for closing care gaps

The NEOMED College of Pharmacy has received an “Innovating Patient Care and Pharmacy Practice” scholarship from the National Association of Chain Drugs Stores (NACDS) Foundation.

The College received one of five $20,000 awards from the NACDS Foundation to fund care and community-centered coursework or program innovations that advance pharmacy education. The award was presented during the 2025 NACDS Annual Meeting in Palm Beach, Florida.

The scholarship is given in recognition of the College’s commitment to closing care gaps, specifically as measured in the Healthcare Effectiveness Data and Information Set (HEDIS) based on preventive screenings, immunizations and medication management through pharmacy-led interventions.
