College of Pharmacy students inducted into the Rho Chi Honor Society
The Rho Chi Delta Phi Chapter formally inducted nine students from the NEOMED College of Pharmacy into its esteemed Honor Society during a ceremony held on Oct. 29, 2025. The event brought together faculty, students and family members to celebrate the academic excellence of the new inductees, who represent the top 20% of their class.
The ceremony featured keynote remarks from Chrisovalantis Paxos, Pharm.D., BCPP, BCPS, BCGP, professor of Pharmacy Practice, who shared heartfelt advice on finding fulfillment and success in both life and pharmacy practice. He encouraged students to avoid the trap of comparison and to always make a conscious effort to uplift those around them. His message emphasized the importance of kindness, humility and authenticity.
The Rho Chi Society is founded on the vision of advancing the profession of pharmacy through sustained intellectual leadership. As a community of scholars, the society instills the desire to pursue intellectual excellence and critical inquiry to advance the profession. Its mission is to encourage and recognize intellectual achievement, stimulate critical inquiry to advance pharmacy, contribute to the development of intellectual leaders, promote the highest ethical standards, and foster collaboration.

The chapter is advised by Sara Dugan, Pharm.D., BCPP, BCPS, professor of Pharmacy Practice, whose guidance helps sustain the chapter’s success and engagement within the NEOMED community.
