Congratulations to Jan McCourtie, administrative coordinator for the College of Medicine, who will retire June 30.
Jan joined the College in 2014 after a long career in the private sector. During her time here, she has supported numerous initiatives and departments, such as Education for Service, COM student and academic affairs and COM clinical affairs. She has also served as the face of the dean’s office at our front desk.
She has always been the ultimate team player and has gone above and beyond assisting faculty, staff, and students.
Jan has brought joy and laughter to the office for years, and her positive demeanor will be greatly missed!
All of us who have worked with her will miss her, but we wish her the best as she spends more time with her family, enjoying the outdoors and travelling.
