Congratulations to our new director of library services

The Division of Academic Affairs & Student Services is thrilled to announce that Jennifer Rice has been selected to serve as the new director of library services here at NEOMED, effective Jan. 1. Jennifer was selected by a great team of search committee members and library staff whom we thank for the time they took to conduct a successful national search.

Jennifer will bring a strong understanding of the collaborative relationships between the library and OhioLINK, the depository, and our hospital affiliates. In her role, she will provide our growing library with the strategic leadership and planning to address the evolving library landscape. She will also oversee the Writing & SLL Center, co-located in the library as well as chair the NEOMED ERC (Educational Resources Committee).

Jennifer earned her Master of Library & Information Science from Kent State University with specialization in Academic Librarianship, and currently serves as NEOMED’s Electronic Resources Librarian. She is Lean Six Sigma Certified and completed the KSU Institute of Excellence program.

Please help me congratulate Jennifer Rice on her new role!

Thank you to our search committee members:

  • Dr. Kristi Victoroff
  • Amy Furey-Ligan
  • Melissa Spohn, KSU
  • Gregory Burlingame
  • Colleen Duchon
