Constitution Day is an American federal observance commemorating the signing of the United States Constitution on Sept. 17, 1787. Since this is a Saturday, we are honoring Constitution Day on Friday, Sept. 16!
Here’s how you can get involved:
- Visit an informational table in the Office of Financial Aid from noon-1 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 16, to view informational videos on the constitution, challenge yourself with constitutional games, and pick up a pocket constitution (while supplies last).
- Watch informational videos online if you cannot make it in person.
- Most importantly, register to vote or update your voter registration so you can exercise your right to vote! The deadline to register to vote in the Nov. 8 general election is Oct. 11, 2022. You can also request an absentee ballot to vote by mail or early in-person voting
- Visit our Constitution Day website for more information.
