De-stressing with puppies, massages, breakfast food and painting

De-Stress Fest is a traditional week of activities held each semester before finals, with events organized by the Center for Student Wellness and Counseling Services, Sequoia Wellness, Office of Human Resources and NEOMED Student Council. It’s a chance to unwind, reflect and prepare as the end of the semester approaches.

De-Stress Fest took place all through the week of April 10, offering cuddles with puppies, chair massages, diamond painting art therapy, late night breakfast and a Pilates group class.

More than 100 students attended the fun activities.

To end the week, students participated in the Saturday of Service, volunteering at local nonprofit organizations. Students volunteered their time cleaning up trails for the Portage Park District and organizing and unloading furniture at the Hartville Thrift Shoppe.
