Dean of Bitonte College of Dentistry highlights community impact in interview

Sorin Teich, D.M.D., M.B.A., dean of the Bitonte College of Dentistry, shared his thoughts on welcoming the inaugural class and the impact the College will have on the community, in a recent interview with Second Wave digital magazine.

“We are very focused on educating these students to become competent practitioners who will address at least some of the acute needs in the state of Ohio,” Dr. Teich said in the interview.

NEOMED will welcome the first 52 students to the Bitonte College of Dentistry with a week of orientation beginning August 18. Dr. Teich shared his high hopes for the class in the interview.

“There’s a great need for oral health care. If we can show future dentists what it means to serve — and give them the tools to do it — we can make a lasting difference,” he said.
