Dr. Amy Lee elected to national public health council
Faculty member and alumna Amy Lee, M.D., M.P.H., M.B.A. (’88), was recently elected chair of the Council on Linkages Between Academic and Public Health Practice.
Nominees must have served on the Council on Linkages for at least two years and have experience working in public health practice to be eligible to serve as chair.
The Council on Linkages Between Academia and Public Health Practice (Council on Linkages) is a collaborative of 24 national organizations focused on improving public health education and training, practice, and research. The Council on Linkages is supported by the Public Health Foundation.
Dr. Lee also currently serves on the Public Health Foundation Board of Directors.
She is program director of the Consortium of Eastern Ohio Master of Public Health program at NEOMED and teaches Health Systems Science and Quality Improvement for the College of Medicine.
