Dr. Denis Lunne is Master Teacher Award recipient

Denis Lunne, M.D., FACP, was awarded the 2024 Evelyn V. Hess, M.D., MACP Master Teacher Award at the Ohio Chapter of the American College of Physicians (ACP) Scientific Conference on Oct. 17, 2024. 

This award recognizes Master Teachers of Medicine who have been active in teaching medical students, residents and/or peers. Dr. Lunne has been an Internal Medicine Clerkship Director for 30 years in Youngstown, first at Northside Hospital and currently at Mercy Health System - St. Elizabeth Youngstown Hospital. He has been a recipient of the Golden Apple Award for clinical teaching, selected as commencement hooder eight times at NEOMED, inducted as a faculty member into Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society and the founding advisor to the Council of Student Members at the Ohio ACP.
