Dr. Richard Wardrop appointed to national board
Congratulations to Richard Wardrop, M.D., Ph.D., who has been appointed to the Board of Trustees of the ABIM Foundation, part of the American Board of Internal Medicine, with a term beginning July 1, 2026.
Dr. Wardrop is chief medical officer and clinical physician at NEOMED Health Care. He also holds appointments as professor of internal medicine and professor of pediatrics in the NEOMED College of Medicine.
Throughout his career, Dr. Wardrop has been committed to preparing physicians at all levels to meet the evolving needs of patients and communities, while upholding the core values that define the health professions. The ABIM Foundation’s mission to advance medical professionalism in ways that strengthen trust and improve care aligns with that work and with NEOMED’s commitment to developing compassionate, community‑focused health professionals.
