The Islamic Medical Association of North America (IMANA) has launched a scholarship opportunity. IMANA is a 501 (c)(3) charitable organization that has spent the last 50+ years focused on fostering health promotion, disease prevention, and health maintenance in communities around the world through direct patient care, health programs, and advocacy. Throughout their history, IMANA has awarded scholarships to assist students in pursuing higher education.
The 2022 scholarship program will offer awards up to $5,000 to students pursuing medicine, dentistry, pharmacy, nursing and allied health fields. Including both merit-based and need-based opportunities.
The application deadline is March 15, 2022. The awards will be announced and presented to the recipients in the spring of 2022.
