Farewell Molly O’Malley
Dear NEOMED students, faculty, and staff:
It is bittersweet to announce the departure of Molly O’Malley, Associate Director of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion and Title IX Coordinator for NEOMED. Her dedication to DEI and protecting students, employees and guests from discrimination and harassment have been instrumental to our respectful culture as well as our celebration and appreciation of our uniqueness as individuals. It has truly been an honor and pleasure to have Molly be such a huge part of the creation of a welcoming and inclusive climate here at NEOMED.
Please join me in thanking Molly for all that she’s done. I know she will continue to thrive in her future endeavors.
Please contact me at aburton@neomed.edu or 330.325.6733 with any DEI program requests, Title IX related matters, or questions for 2023-2024 DEI programming. Molly has left us in good hands with many fantastic events — see Embracing Diversity Series to learn more.
For any Title IX or hate/bias related incidents, questions or concerns, you will find all the forms needed to make a report at neomed.edu/reporting. You may also contact me or the NEOMED Police Department directly for immediate needs.
Molly’s final day on campus is today, Sept. 12, 2023.
Sincerely,
Andre Burton, J.D., Vice President for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion
