Finishing strong: What happens next with verifications, transcripts & diplomas

Hello Class of 2025!

We know you're eager to complete your licensure applications, receive your diploma and get your final transcript—here's what to expect from the Registrar's Office:

Submitting Forms

• Please email any licensure forms to registrar@neomed.edu using your NEOMED email address.
• If your form says it can be completed "30 days" or "3 months prior to graduation" — we still have to wait until your courses are finished.
• For Medicine students: Courses end April 18
• For Pharmacy students: Courses end April 30
• If the form only asks for date the diploma was issued, degree conferral date or type of degree awarded, it cannot be completed until your degree is officially conferred.
• Degree conferral can take up to 30 days after commencement, depending on when all grades are submitted.

Diplomas and Transcripts

• You’ll receive your electronic diploma via your NEOMED email once your degree is conferred.
• Final transcripts (showing your degree and conferral date) will also be available after degree conferral.
• You can order your final transcript through Parchment—details are on our website.

What We’ll Do

• Once we receive your form, we’ll hold onto it and complete it at the appropriate time.
• Once it’s done, we’ll send you a confirmation email.
• Forms are completed in the order we receive them.

Please note: Due to the high volume of requests we’ll be receiving around this time, processing may take longer than usual. We appreciate your patience as we work to get everything completed as quickly as possible!
