First Strategic Plan Update Cycle Opens January 16

NEOMED is preparing to launch the first quarterly update cycle for the 2030 Creating Transformational Leaders Strategic Plan, marking an important milestone in our institution-wide commitment to continuous improvement and transparent progress reporting.

Beginning Friday, Jan. 16, all action plan owners will be asked to submit updates through Envisio, the University’s strategic plan management platform. The update cycle will remain open through Wednesday, Jan. 28.

Quarterly updates play a vital role in documenting progress toward our institutional goals. The information submitted by action plan owners is aggregated at the Pillar level for review by the following pillar leads:

• Academics – Dr. Faison
• Discovery – Dr. German
• Engagement & Operations – Mary Taylor

To support consistency and accuracy across all plan elements, action plan owners should complete three key components during the update cycle:

1. Narrative Update - Provide a concise summary of progress this quarter, using the prompts mirrored in Envisio
2. Status Selection - Choose the status that aligns with your narrative.
3. Progress Update - Adjust the progress bar to reflect the percentage of completion of your action plan.
