P3s were standing by, ready to serve, at NEOMED’s NEOvations flu clinic Sept 16. And more pharmacy students will be on hand until the job is done, says Kunal Amin, Pharm.D., the Vice President and director of clinical services for NEOvationsRx, who is overseeing the clinic.
With influenza vaccination mandatory for all NEOMED employees, there’s no reason to delay.
Appointments are preferred and are available in five-minute increments. Sign up for your time slot and make sure to bring your completed flu vaccine form and insurance card with you to your appointment. Employees may also acquire their flu vaccination from a provider of their choice.
Verification of vaccination is required by Human Resources.
NEOvations will bill your insurance for the cost of your flu vaccine this year. If you are not covered by NEOMED’s insurance, make sure to have your health insurance card with you at the time of your appointment. If you do not have insurance, there will be a $35 fee.
Reminder: Obtaining the influenza vaccine is a term and condition of employment, so failure to comply with the mandatory vaccination requirement may result in corrective measures.
