Congratulations to fourth-year medicine student Sanjay Jinka, who recently received the Association of Indian Physicians (AIPNO) Medical Student Scholarship. The award is given to recognize a medical student who makes outstanding contributions to the medical profession, service to humanity and achievements in research.
AIPNO awards were presented during the organization’s 39th annual dinner and 31st Chiraag on Oct. 1. Jinka, who was on rotation in California when the awards were presented, received a personalized plaque recognizing the scholarship during the NEOMED Board of Trustees meeting Dec. 1.
Jinka, who serves as a student member of the Board, noted, “It means a lot to be chosen for this accolade and to represent my University.”
