Join us on October 9, 2025, which is also World Mental Health Day. Attendees can look forward to hearing from content experts in suicide prevention and collegiate athlete mental health. We will be joined by morning keynote Quentin Shambley, M.S.N., R.N., PMHNP-BC, The Hidden Opponent who will combine professional insight with personal experience as a former Division I football player to explore the unique mental health challenges athletes face. Also joining us, is afternoon keynote Jamey Houle, Ph.D., Lead Sport Psychologist, The Ohio State University. Dr. Houle will discuss the suicide prevention strategy of resilience development within an athletic department. Scarlet and Grit, a seven-week elite resilience training program will be discussed as a proposed option to address suicide prevention within an athletic department. Additionally, hear from athletic staff and student athletes on two panels discussing student athlete mental health from different roles and perspectives. We hope to see you there!
