From HR: New process for hiring students

Here are the revised steps to hiring a student:

1. Job Description Creation: The hiring manager is responsible for drafting a simple job description. Please include the following details:

  • Index
  • Rate of pay
  • Hiring manager
  • Start and end date

2. Submission to HR: Send the job description to Jenna Morgan in Human Resources.

3. Job Posting: HR will create and post the job opening in PeopleAdmin.

4. Application Process: HR will provide the hiring manager with a link to the posting. Candidates will apply through this link.

5. Hiring Recommendation: Once a candidate is recommended for hire, HR will inform the hiring manager of the next steps.

6. Document Submission: The new hire will submit all required documents through PeopleAdmin.
