Giving Tuesday: A Challenge to NEOMED Community

November 30 is Giving Tuesday, described by its organizers as "a global generosity movement unleashing the power of people and organizations to transform their communities and the world.” This year, we are asking our community to support the Student-Run Free Clinic at NEOMED, which provides quality health care to the underserved, and the Future Pharmacist Fund, which provides annual scholarships for third- and fourth-year pharmacy students.

Last year, the NEOMED community donated more than $20,000 to the clinic through various means. This year, we challenge you to exceed that amount.  We also ask you to step up to double the number of donors to the Future Pharmacist scholarship fund from 50 to 100. Please help us continue to transform our community by providing greater access to quality health care for the uninsured and underinsured residents of Northeast Ohio, and to help us develop the transformational leaders of tomorrow.

How can you help?

  • Give to the Student-Run Free Clinic at NEOMED or the Future Pharmacists Fund (or both!) on Giving Tuesday, Nov. 30.
  • Follow @neomedfreeclinic and @neomedcop on Instagram for direct messages from students, social media posts across all @neomededu pages and other special communications to make a difference in our community. Then spread the word about our amazing medicine and pharmacy students and share the link below on social media with #GivingTuesday to encourage others to give.
