Help create the next NEOMED time capsule
This is your opportunity to become part of NEOMED's history!
We invite students, faculty, staff, clinical faculty, alumni, community members and families to share a favorite NEOMED memory, words of encouragement, advice for future students or a message to those who will open the next time capsule 50 years from now.
Faculty and staff are encouraged to participate in two ways:
- Individual submission: Share a personal memory or message.
- Department submission: Submit a group photo and a message representing your department or team.
Submissions will be compiled into a commemorative NEOMED Memory Booklet that will be preserved in the 2026 Time Capsule.
Submit your memory by Friday, August 14, at 5 p.m.
In 1976, members of the NEOMED community placed a time capsule behind the campus cornerstone with one simple instruction: Open in 2026.
On Monday, August 24, we'll fulfill that promise as we open the original time capsule. At the same time, we'll create a new one that won't be opened until 2076.
Everyone is invited to attend the NEOMED Time Capsule Opening on August 24 from 12-2 p.m.
