Here are the guest speakers for Monday's University Update
Join us for a special University Update on Monday, April 24, at 10:30 a.m. Six exceptional students from the College of Medicine, College of Pharmacy and College of Graduate Studies will share their NEOMED experiences as they prepare for Commencement or the next steps in their academic careers.
The six students presenting, from all three colleges, are:
Ashley Audi is a current fourth-year medicine student who will graduate this May. She is passionate about medical education and is excited to be continuing her training in Northeast Ohio at the Cleveland Clinic in neurology after graduation.
Miranda Galleher is a fourth-year pharmacy student who is set to graduate in just a few short weeks. After graduation, she will begin her PGY-1 residency at Summa Health and plans to pursue a career in ambulatory care and academia.
Paul Lungu is a current fourth-year pharmacy student who will graduate this May. Lungu will be pursuing a PGY1 pharmacy residency at Cleveland Clinic Akron General upon graduation.
Nicholas Osborne is a current second-year medicine student, a Ph.D. candidate in basic and translational biomedicine and a master's candidate in medical ethics and humanities. He is continuing his studies at NEOMED.
Jamie Pandey is a current fourth-year medicine student who is set to graduate in just a few short weeks. Pandey recently matched into combined Family Medicine and Psychiatry at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC).
Cayman Pearsall is currently a Master of Foundation in Medicine student who is set to graduate in just a few weeks. Pearsall is staying at NEOMED and will begin medical school as an M1 in the upcoming academic year.
Prior to the University Update, we’d like to cordially invite you to a coffee hour on Monday, April 24, at 9:30 a.m. to celebrate all the progress that has been made toward the strategic plan.
