Highlights from the April 22 Celebration of Health Professions Education

NEOMED hosted its spring Celebration of Health Professions Education event on Monday, April 22.

Jenny Marcinkiewicz, Ph.D., started the day’s event with the plenary session, Good Alignment: The Key to Moving Learning Forward. NEOMED faculty, Chris Paxos, Pharm.D. and S. Scott Wisneski, Pharm.D., M.B.A., R.Ph., followed the session with an interactive workshop entitled “Crafting Clear Pathways”: A Workshop on Writing Objectives and Assessing Test Items.

The event also highlighted NEOMED faculty education innovation presentations, including:

Once Upon a Time: Teaching Medicine through Storytelling and Imagery

The event concluded with a brief presentation from Brian Harrell, M.A., and Brooke Wyers, M.S., about NEOMED Writing Center services.
