Highlights from the Oct. 16 Celebration of Health Professions Education

NEOMED hosted its third annual Celebration of Health Professions Education event on Monday, Oct. 16.

Larry Hurtubise, M.A., Ph.D., curriculum and instruction consultant from Ohio State's Drake Institute for Teaching and Learning, started the day’s event with the plenary session, Achieving the Benefits of Backward Curricular Design in Health Professions Education, followed by an interactive workshop titled Implementing Backward Curricular Design in Health Professions Education.

The event then highlighted NEOMED faculty education innovation presentations, including:
