Thank you to all the students, faculty and staff who participated in the site visit from the Higher Learning Commission (HLC) on Monday and Tuesday, Sept. 12-13. The site visit was a compilation of the efforts of so many over the past 16 months and a true testament of NEOMED’s collaborative spirit.
Members of the campus community met with the HLC review team in open forums, focus groups and drop-in sessions to share the story of NEOMED and help assure the University’s re-accreditation by the HLC.
Over 150 NEOMED students, faculty and staff participated in the site visit, and the peer review team reported that they were pleased with the engagement of our community during the various sessions.
What’s Next?
The review team will prepare a report that summarizes the findings and follow-up materials may be requested. The results will be presented to the HLC Board in early 2023, and a final decision on NEOMED’s accreditation status will be available shortly thereafter.
