The University’s HLC Comprehensive Evaluation Site Visit is less than a week away! Let me express my gratitude for the hard work of so many across the University who have participated in the re-accreditation process over the past 15-plus months. The diversity of experiences and perspectives helped us to tell the NEOMED story in its truest form to showcase the progress we have made since our last site visit 10 years ago. If you have not done so already, I encourage you to read through NEOMED’s Assurance Argument that will serve as the basis of our upcoming site visit.
The site visit will take place on campus on Sept. 12-13. During the site visit, faculty, staff and students are encouraged to attend one or more of the following sessions:
HLC Criteria 1 and 2: Mission and Integrity
Monday, Sept. 12
10-10:50 a.m.
HLC Criteria 3 and 4: Teaching and Learning
Monday, Sept. 12
1-1:50 p.m.
HLC Criterion 5: Institutional Effectiveness and Strategic Planning
Monday, Sept. 12
3:30-4:30 p.m.
Student Drop-in Session (students only)
Monday, Sept. 12
3:30-4:30 p.m.
Faculty Drop-in Session (faculty only)
Tuesday, Sept. 13
10-10:55 a.m.
We encourage all NEOMED faculty, staff and students to participate during the site visit in some way (see agenda for more options). The HLC review team will want to discuss the above topics with as many members of our community as time permits, so your attendance is greatly appreciated. If you have any questions or would like to discuss further how you can participate, please reach out to Jordan Cinderich, HLC site visit coordinator, at jcinderich@neomed.edu.
Thank you for your continuing support as the University prepares for this exciting opportunity.
