The Integrated Care @ NEOMED (IC@N) ECHO Program provides healthcare professionals with timely, evidence-based education focused on improving outcomes in behavioral health and integrated care settings. This session will explore commonly prescribed medications associated with depression, strategies for recognizing medication-induced mood changes, and approaches to optimizing treatment plans while minimizing adverse effects.

Cervical Sympathetic Blockade for Trauma & Anxiety
Presenter: Michael Louwers, M.D.
Dr. Michael Louwers, Medical Director of Reset Medical & Wellness Center, will discuss the growing role of cervical sympathetic blockade, including the Stellate Ganglion Block (SGB), in treating PTSD, anxiety, and trauma-related nervous system dysregulation. Participants will learn about the physiological mechanisms behind this intervention, current research findings, patient selection considerations, and its integration into comprehensive trauma-informed care.
