In case of tornado, remember to DUCK

Since tornado season is approaching, it’s a good time to be reminded of what actions to take during a tornado. While NEOMED does have shelter areas identified, it’s important to keep it simple, so remember to DUCK!

            D – Go DOWN to the lowest level

            U – Get UNDER something

            C – COVER your head

            K – KEEP in shelter until the storm has passed

NEOMED’s Emergency Management Planning Team will be conducting a campus-wide tornado drill on Monday, March 23, at 12:30 p.m. Participation is highly encouraged as this is a great time to plan where you will seek shelter in the event of a tornado warning while you are on campus.
