In the News: NEOMED's OPCSMH Program highlighted for statewide impact
Jessica Zavala, director of the Ohio Program for Campus Safety and Mental Health (OPCSMH), which is based at NEOMED, shared her insights for a recent article published in the Kent State News Lab and the Akron Beacon Journal.
As a resource for Ohio's colleges and universities, OPCSMH promotes mental health awareness and stigma reduction activities at campuses across the state.
“There are a lot of partnerships and ways that campuses and community organizations right now are partnering and working together to meet the needs of students,” Zavala said in the interview.
