In the News: ‘Shout out’ to President Langell on national podcast
On the May 8 edition of the Becker Private Equity and Business Podcast, renowned attorney and entrepreneur Scott Becker gave a shout out to what he calls “high-motor leaders” who are changing the face of their industries. “If you didn’t know what they did, you wouldn’t know how powerful their motor runs inside,” Becker said.
Among those exemplary leaders was NEOMED President John Langell, M.D., Ph.D., M.P.H., M.B.A.
Becker noted that under Dr. Langell’s leadership, NEOMED has grown into “one of the great medical schools in the country” with about 6,000 applicants each year for 200 spots in the College of Medicine. Becker attributes the success to Dr. Langell’s focus on building partnerships and alliances.
